BIO Coffee Table

BIO takes inspiration from the geometric and organic shapes found in nature. When seen up close, leaves have  incredibly perfect geometry in their venation, while their outer silhouettes are irregular and asymmetrical.

The design combines straight lines and soft blobs, helping to make this minimal table design more dynamic and draws attention to its key element - the terrazzo tabletop. 
The colourful table top features CNC cut marble blocks set in multi-coloured terrazzo. The base of the table is constructed out of mild steel rod and powder-coated, with hidden support for the terrazzo top. The design pays homage to BFT's craftsmanship and its product line that have a functional purpose and, look like works of art.
